This class was very beneficial for my future. I learned a lot about different management styles, specifically how you should interact with various coworkers. One of the main concepts I took away from this course was emotional intelligence, which focuses on the key basis on interpersonal communication within a workplace. I am now positioned to work successfully with different levels of staff members and lead a wide group of inviduals.

Introduction to Student Leadership
Be able to learn about all the different styles of leadership was a great experience. Seeing the first-hand affects that all the leadership approaches have on individuals was really eye-opening and it has allowed me to gauge the best style of leadership to use in the future depending on the situation. Doing various research studies and projects showed how much leadership affects the positivity in a workplace.

Why Good Managers Make Bad Decisions
This class utilized the use of management examples to showcase the importance of decision making in intense situations. In management scenarios, it is crucial to use prior evidence to form a successful solution for you and your team to get the best results. Critical thinking was a focal point of the class, as you can't take the easy way out in situations and forces you to think of all possible outcomes to determine the best decision. Wherever I work in the future, I will incorporate the critical-thinking technique and utilize the data provided to me to solve all potential problems for my team.

Introduction to Information Systems
Intro to Information Systems was the first class that helped me get a better understanding for computerized analyses. The main purpose of the class was to use Microsoft Excel to analyze and structure data in a way that could be easily communicated to any client or business. We could look information like inventory and customer orders for thousands of customers and organize it by certain categories that would allow us to explain to our clients the best approach for business data structuring. Learning how to become proficient in excel was an skill I needed to learn and now I can be confident when asked to do tasks on this platform.
