ABOUT kyle
I am a Junior Finance and Information Systems double major studying at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. I am from New Jersey, where I graduated from Emerson Junior-Senior High School in 2018. I am currently looking for a future position that incorporates both my finance and information systems background. I have a great opportunity to intern as a Technology Consultant with an accounting firm this summer that will allow me to analyze consumer data and give them the guidance they need moving forward to maximize their profits.
Extra Curriculars:
Intramural Supervisor: On campus, intramural sports gives students an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of games ranging from soccer to flag football and everything in between. As a supervisor, I am responsible for overseeing the student officials, managing conflicts between participants, and answering any questions that players might have. This job has prepared me for the future because I have learned the ability to handle all different types of people and managing my time between school and a full-time job.

Maryland Student Officials Association Treasurer: The
University of Maryland offers a unique experience where student officials can partner with organizations like Special Olympics Maryland or Maryland Hillel and host tournaments officiated by our staff. As the treasurer, I handle the budget and ensure that we have all the proper equipment necessary to run successful tournaments. I also responsible for writing the checks for our officials and making sure they are getting paid for their efforts.

Media Scholars Peer Mentor: The scholars program is an amazing experience for first and second year students at Maryland that gives you an chance to learn about prevalent topics in our society today. From politics to science to media, the scholars program teaches you real world problems that may or may not be connected to your future job. As a peer mentor, I had 6 mentees who could use me as an outlet for any questions they had, related to the program or just life in general. I was a resource for these freshman students who were new to school and acted as a trusted voice they could go to in a time of need.
